Fall Tutoring
Fall tutoring begins on Thursday, September 5, 2024. Monday – Thursday are in-person faculty and peer tutoring, and Friday is virtual only.
Welcome to the Writing Center
The Tutoring Center, located in DeMare Hall, provides an array of free academic services in a variety of subject areas. Our services include in-person one-on-one or group tutoring, academic workshops, science focus sessions, as well as a 24/7 online tutoring service via Brainfuse for CCM students. Students can also use the Center for self-study or access computers to do their work. Our goal is to help YOU achieve academic success!
Writing Workshops Fall 2024
In this workshop, participants will be guided through best practices in integrating high-quality research sources in their writing for all disciplines. We will also address stylistic tips to enhance research writing and avoid needless interference with AI.
To attend these sessions, students will need to schedule an appointment in the TutorTrac scheduling system at https://tutortrac.ccm.edu; please use your CCM student credentials to sign in. Upon signing in, select “Search Availability” under Student Options on the left-hand side of the screen. Next, select “Writing Center” then select the course and date range.
Please make sure you select the appropriate date and time for the session you would like to attend. Appointments can be made up to 6 days in advance. Make your appointment no later than 24 hours before the day of session.
After scheduling an appointment, visit the Blackboard Tutoring Center: Math, Writing, & Science Center Shell. Select “Writing Center” for the link to the Zoom session.
