Joyce is a 34 year nursing veteran with understanding and skill in many areas of acute care and outpatient care. She received her diploma in nursing from Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Nurse she began her career in the ICU at Dover General Hospital after passing her state boards. Over her 14 years at Dover she acquired experience in orthopedics, medical/surgical care, pediatrics and oncology. After a move to Hackettstown Regional Hospital she worked in telemetry and medical/surgical units prior to working in the newly opened outpatient Wound Healing/Hyperbaric unit. This led to a coordinator position at the Newton Medical Center Wound Healing/Hyperbaric unit. She acquired her BSN in 2015 from the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and her MSN in 2018 from the Grand Canyon University. She joined CCM as an adjunct professor in 2018 and as a full-time staff member in 2019.
Joyce is the proud grandmother of two grandsons and one granddaughter belonging to her 3 children.
