More than $500,000 Is Available to Help Students Realize Their Dreams
Are you dreaming of college and a better future but struggling to find ways to pay for a higher education? Not only does County College of Morris (CCM) provide an affordable option for people to realize their dreams, the college also has more than $500,000 to help students so they can enroll for the 2021 Spring Semester.
Money for College
For those who have lost their jobs, who have had their hours reduced, have run out of unemployment benefits or are facing other financial issues, CCM can help. The college has CARES dollars to cover such costs as utility bills, housing, child care, tuition and more. These funds are entirely free and do not need to be paid back. The application process is simple and quick. Go to www.ccm.edu/admissions/financialaid/ccmcares-studentemergencygrant/ or email ccmcares@ccm.edu or call 973-328-5170 for more information or assistance.
Along with those funds, CCM each year awards approximately $26 million in financial aid and scholarships to its students. Included among those funds is the Community College Opportunity Grant that offers free tuition to eligible students. To find out more about that and other funding, visit www.ccm.edu/admissions/financialaid/.
The 2021 Spring Semester
The Spring Semester starts at CCM on January 20. Several mini-terms also start after that date. Similar to the 2020 Fall Semester, classes are being held in three formats: hybrid with some on-campus time and the rest online, as remote classes with set days and times to login and as online classes where students can pick the days and times to do their classwork. For more information on the Spring Semester, go to www.ccm.edu/spring-2021 or contact the Admissions office at admiss@ccm.edu or 973-328-5100.
