In addition to our tutoring services, tthe Center offers Brainfuse online tutoring in many different subjects, 24/7, which is available via Blackboard in over 150 subjects.
The Writing Center is located on the second level of the Learning Resource Center. Tutoring is conducted by faculty and peer tutors. Services include one-on-one tutoring appointments, walk-ins, and workshops. Tutors identify writing problems, provide instruction in theory, and offer practice for written improvement in any subject/course. Tutors can offer pre-paper and post-paper consultations. All Writing Skills students are strongly encouraged to attend tutorial sessions as part of their developmental course requirements. Sessions are in 20-minute increments.
