- Additional resources are available on the Blackboard Users Group (BUG) course in Blackboard.
Model Courses:
Model courses are designed by a faculty course developer in partnership with an instructional designer. There is a lot of flexibility in terms of subject matter content presentation and on activities/assessments (depending on the department). There are course organizational restrictions. The course set up (including the course menu) cannot be revised. The course organization is designed with student experience in mind, so there is consistency as they go from Virtual Campus course to Virtual Campus course.
Please refer to the Model Course Instructions for Faculty document as you are ready to course copy and set up your model course. Please do not make any changes to the model course. All changes are done in your own course after the course copy is completed.
Any changes to the sample activities and/or assessments must be documented and reported to the academic department chairperson. Please contact your department chair to discuss how the changes should be reported. If the department is using the Model Course Activities/Assessment Change Form through the Virtual Campus, please access it via the provided hyperlink.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Please continue to monitor your CCM email and www.ccm.edu for campus communication as it is related to COVID-19. If you require support using the online tools please email ctl@ccm.edu
