Studying child development and education at CCM offers a multifaceted and versatile educational experience with numerous benefits for individuals seeking a diverse range of career paths. The college offers many options for students who seek a degree to launch their career.
Certificates & Training Programs
Child Development Associate (CDA) Educational Endorsement (9 credits) — the first step toward a career as a preschool group teacher in a child care center, as well as careers as a paraprofessional, substitute teacher, Head Start employee, Child Life Specialist, Early Intervention professional, and many other jobs in child-related careers.
Childcare Specialist (34 credits) — designed to accommodate the new high school graduate as well as if you are employed and seeking a new child-related careers.
All credits earned in either program may be applied towards earning your Associate Degree at CCM.
