NEW – Digital Literacy program

This series is designed to help learners build confidence using technology for work, education, and everyday life. Each course is 8 hours total and delivered as four 2-hour afternoon sessions, Monday through Thursday.

Digital Awareness (8 hours) – Foundational digital skills and online safety.
Using Computer and Mobile Devices (8 hours) – Basic computer, mobile device, and online service navigation.
Create Digital Content, Communicate, and Collaborate Online (8 hours) – Document creation, communication tools, and collaboration in hybrid and remote environments.
Digital Safety and Security Awareness (8 hours) – Protecting personal data, recognizing cyber threats, and practicing safe online habits.

Cybersecurity & AI Systems prepares learners to understand, assess, and secure modern AI-enabled environments through hands-on learning in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud security, network defense, and AI governance.

Cybersecurity Foundations — Apply core security principles, Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and identity and access management.
AI Security — Understand how attackers target AI systems through threats such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, and adversarial attacks.
Cloud & Network Defense — Analyze network activity and security events while applying strategies to protect cloud and AI infrastructure.

Through practical labs, simulations, threat modeling exercises, security assessments, and hands-on activities, you’ll work with the types of challenges security professionals face as organizations adopt AI and cloud technologies.

Capstone Project

You’ll evaluate an AI-enabled environment, identify security and governance risks, develop recommendations, and present a professional security strategy that connects technology, cybersecurity, governance, and business objectives.

These courses are intended for IT professionals and current IT students who are looking to add certifications to their resumes.

CompTIA A+ Core 1 Exam Prep (CPC-666E)

PREREQUISITE: Working knowledge of personal computers.

This course provides comprehensive preparation for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 (220-1101) certification exam, the first of two exams required for the industry-recognized CompTIA A+ certification. Aligned with the latest (V15) exam objectives, the course covers foundational IT skills in key areas including computer hardware, networking, mobile devices, virtualization, cloud computing, and hardware troubleshooting. Students will develop hands-on experience and practical knowledge essential for entry-level IT support roles such as IT support specialist and help desk technician. This course also lays the groundwork for further study in networking and cybersecurity, serving as a stepping stone toward certifications like CompTIA Network+ and Security+. Upon successful completion, students will be well-prepared to sit for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam and advance in the IT support field.

CompTIA A+ Core 2 Exam Prep (CPC-667E)

PREREQUISITE: Working knowledge of personal computers.

This course prepares students for the CompTIA A+ Core 2 (220-1102) certification exam, the second of two exams required to earn the industry-standard CompTIA A+ certification. Aligned with the latest (V15) exam objectives, the course focuses on critical IT skills including operating systems, cybersecurity fundamentals, software troubleshooting, and operational procedures. Through hands-on labs and real-world scenarios, students will gain the practical experience needed for roles such as IT support specialist, technical support technician, and help desk professional. Together with A+ Core 1, this course provides a strong foundation for pursuing advanced certifications such as CompTIA Network+ and Security+. Upon successful completion, students will be prepared to take the CompTIA A+ Core 2 exam and begin a career in IT support and systems administration.
