- Master foundational concepts of confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation, and privacy, and how these principles form the basis of securing information and systems
- Ensure organizational resilience through business continuity, recover critical systems after disasters, and effectively respond to cybersecurity incidents
- Apply realistic access control models, including discretionary, mandatory, role-based, and attribute-based access control, and how to apply the principle of least privilege and segregation of duties to safeguard data
- Protect networks from cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network segmentation, and secure communication protocols
- Manage and monitor security operations, including incident detection, response, data protection, system hardening, and enforcing security policies across an organization’s infrastructure

About the Instructor
Andrew Goldstein, BA, CEH (ISO/IEC 17024) – Andrew is a cybersecurity professional who possesses over five years of combined cybersecurity and information technology experience, plus is an EC-Council accredited Certified Ethical Hacker. Andrew was a DSSI research assistant during his time at Drew University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics. He then worked as a consultant and penetration tester for a NJ based cybersecurity firm before leaving to found his own tech startup. In his current role at the County College of Morris, Andrew inspires the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.

What kind of jobs can I get after completing this program?
Successful graduates of the bootcamp will go on to find work as cybersecurity analysts, network security engineers, ethical hackers, and incident response specialists.
Do I need prior experience in IT to enroll?
No prior experience is required. We start with foundational knowledge and work up to advanced topics.
What certification will I earn?
Our bootcamp prepares you to pass your ISC2 CC exam and so much more!
Do I need to have a stable internet connection?
Yes, for the remote-live class sessions you will need access to a reliable and stable connection speed of at least 12 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up. If you would like to test your internet connection, you can use www.speedtest.net.
What are the computer requirements?
You should be using a computer running either Windows 11, Windows 10, or macOS 13 and above. Your computer should also have a webcam and microphone so that you can participate in class with your peers.
What if I do not meet the computer or internet requirements?
You should still reach out. Our college can provide both computers and fast internet to our program’s students when they are onsite.
