The Department of Social Sciences offers rich and diverse opportunities of study within the fields of sociology, anthropology, economics, geography, political science, and the Human Services: Pre-Social Work program. Social Science courses enhance disciplinary learning and social understanding and many are required in degree programs offered at the County College of Morris, including the Liberal Arts and Business degrees. The department’s experienced faculty members have a broad range of interests and expertise, as reflected in the many electives available in the department including studies of gender, race and ethnicity, social psychology, and local government and constitutional law.
