What You Will Learn
The Teacher Education curriculum at CCM provides first-hand experience and active participation in diverse and inclusive classroom settings through 25 hours of classroom observation. Although much of the courses are in the studentâ€™s area of specialization, specific teacher education courses shape their foundation to succeed as a professional educator.

Students planning to pursue a teaching degree at a four-year institution enroll in one of the following specializations at CCM that provide the foundation teacher education courses, as well as courses in oneâ€™s intended major: biology, chemistry, English, history, mathematics, physical education, psychology, sociology, Spanish, or visual arts.
