Cyber Security Centurions

Who are we?

The CCM Cyber Centurions is the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition Team. The team consists of students from many different areas of study here at the County College of Morris who take interest in Cyber Security. In 2015, the team came in seventh place at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in Maryland. This was the first team CCM ever fielded, and they successfully advanced to the finals after competing against over fifty teams from the Mid-Atlantic region. Only the top ten teams advanced to the finals.

What do we do?

Cyber Security CenturionsThe Cyber Centurions Competition Team meets throughout the course of the semester to practice and compete in a wide array of Cyber Security Competitions Nationwide. The team meetings allow students to practice cyber security concepts from both an offensive and defensive side. By taking part in these competitions, County College of Morris Students compete with four year universities across the Nation. Our team is unique because it provides Community College students an opportunity to build a strong skill-set and sound foundation to bring to the workforce or to the institution they may transfer to.

This upcoming year the team will be competing in the following:

-The 2017 Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (MACCDC)
-The National Cyber League 2016 Fall Season
