Business Professional (Career Program), Associate in Applied Science

This career-oriented curriculum is designed to meet the requirements of those who wish to explore the various areas of business. This program may also be used to further the general and specialized skills of those already employed.

The curriculum is not designed with transfer as the desired objective. However, many courses in the program are accepted by baccalaureate-level colleges. Graduates have a fundamental knowledge of business principles, procedures and systems, and a broad background in theory and practice.

The Business Professional curriculum provides the opportunity for the student to earn college credits through cooperative education, a supervised off-campus work experience in a business environment. This program can be completed through a variety of methods, either in class, online or with hybrid courses, which combines in class and online course work.

Career Opportunities

The career possibilities with a Business Professional degree are numerous. Our Business Professional program at County College of Morris is the first step for a career in business. Our graduates have careers in bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, management, insurance, sales, retail, marketing, merchandising, advertising, banking, business information systems, finance, event planning, human resources, and real estate.
